Making a Basic Web Page for Class

The purpose of this assignment, which you will continue to develop throughout the term, is to create a basic web page for yourself. It will be linked to the "students" page on the class site and it will contain links to all of your major assignments so that we can easily look at your work during class. The plan for this page is that it will be a place you can experiement with various techniques and approaches to web design as the course progresses. I will expect that you continue to develop it throughout the term. In the beginning (for this assignment) your page should contain the following:

• At least 3 working links, including 1 to your HU2650 course work (the others can be anything- your hobbies, other classes, favorite web sites, etc.)
• Your link buttons should be rollovers with at least an up and over state
• At least 2 different sized pieces of text
• At least 1 image that has been altered and/or optimized using photoshop or imageready
• When your page is finished, put it in your Home Directory's public_html folder and email the address to me jasheppa@mtu.edu
