Giving Feedback for Screen Mock-ups

Purpose
This activity is designed to provide each class member with feedback on her or his initial mock-ups for the individual project assignment. By sharing these designs with others you should not only receive suggestions from multiple points of view, but you should also begin to see how different people approach the process of design.

What You'll Do
Working in the CCLI in groups of at least four, provide written feedback of the screen designs of three other people. Your evaluation should include the following:

• What is the most important visual element in each design and how well does this support the purpose of the site?
• Which elements, features, and colors in all three designs do you like best and why?
• Which design is most appropriate for the project and its purpose? Why?
• How well do the navigation categories work to help you as the user understand what else is available in the site?
• What changes would you suggest for the design you think works best? (this might include combining features for two or more designs).
