Blackboard Exemplary Course Program Review:

This assignment calls on you to complete a thorough review of an online course. It will provide you with a way to see the theory we read about in action in a real course. It will also help figure out what kinds of approaches and activities work best in online classes as you consider your own course development later in the semester.

The Client Success team at Blackboard says of the review experience, "the Blackboard Exemplary Course Program aims to help faculty use e-Learning technology more effectively by identifying and disseminating best practices for designing engaging online courses. Using a rubric, instructors and course designers are able to evaluate how well their own course conforms to best practices for Course Design, Interaction & Collaboration, Assessment and Learner Support."
